Every day is a journey. No matter what stage you are at in life be it infant; child; teen; adult; parent; and elderly you wake and begin the day. Some of us have good days while others have bad days. There are those who stay stuck, unable to move forward, and those who seem to flow in life easily. I always wondered why there was such a difference in people. Having myself experienced the rather darker side of things most of my life I can clearly state I was totally in EGO, but that is a story for a different day. It is a question of how we look at our journey that makes the difference. After this last year, I realize how much a gift living this life really is.

From the minute you are born to the day you die, you travel along the path of life. The older we get the more we become conscious of the journey. It is as if there is a ticking time bomb that gets louder the older we get. It is as if something within says, “What did we contribute to life,” “What will we leave behind,” “How did we live,” or “How did we love?” When you boil it all down, were we authentic to ourselves. Taking that look at myself, the answer to those questions, and the biggest one of all… is HELL NO. In the Hero’s Journey, I received the call to build myself a new life in the authentic real me, met the supernatural aid that removed me from my comfort zone, and am beginning to look at the basics. So, what do you need to know about the basics?
Look at these questions in yourself:
What is your current situation?
How do you feel about the current situation?
What is it that you wish to change?
Write down what your Needs, Wants, and Desires are right now.
What do you really need to begin building whatever it is you desire?
It truly is a hero’s journey, no matter how you slice and dice your knowing. Grasp the opportunity to change for the better, with excitement.
